St. Louis man gets 60 years for shooting death near Arsenal and Tamm

ST. LOUIS • A St. Louis man was sentenced to 60 years in prison on Friday after he was convicted in July of second-degree murder in the shooting death of Donald Eberhardt, 32, on Nov. 14, 2009.
Michael Shawn Coffman, 37, of the 1600 block of North 21st Street in St. Louis, shot Eberhardt in the temple at point-blank range as they rode in a car, authorities said. He then pushed Eberhardt's body into an alley in the 3000 block of Tamm Avenue, just north of Arsenal Street.
