Participants Needed for Clean The Lou, a Citywide Cleanup, Saturday, Sept. 25

-Residents of St. Louis Metro area asked to help clean up their neighborhoods
-Participants pick their location and time, we just ask it happens on Saturday, Sept. 25
-No official registration required.

Clean the Lou invites you to participate in a community clean-up effort on Saturday, Sept. 25. Groups will be out all around the metro St. Louis area picking up trash and cleaning the city. There is no official registration—you pick your location and time.

Clean the Lou is a call-to-action campaign urging people to participate as individuals, groups, churches, schools, or organizations in picking up trash around the city. Clean the Lou asks that everyone participate on this one day to help raise awareness of the impact that is possible if everyone pitches in.

“We believe that something as simple as picking up some trash can begin to restore this city and unite our community,” says Clean the Lou organizer Kacie Campbell, “It’s simple, but we need everyone’s help to be effective. And hopefully everyone will take time to participate, whether it be for a few minutes, a few hours, or all day.”

Visit www.CleanTheLou.com for ideas of how to get your group started, to locate other groups who are participating, and other helpful information.

For more information you can also contact Clean The Lou at cleanthelou@gmail.com.

HOW IT WORKS
-Pick a time on Sept 25.
-Pick a location.
-Don’t forget trash bags & gloves. Afterwards, please dispose of all trash properly.
