*The District is currently collecting door prizes, including but not limited to Gift Cards to various locations such as grocery stores, Wal-Mart, Target, Macy’s, etc.; Boxes or Bottles of Detergent; Complimentary Meal Coupons; Movie Tickets; Personal Hygiene Items such as bars of soap, deodorant, etc.; Toilet tissue; Paper Towels; Hand Sanitizers; and Toothpaste/Toothbrushes. To contribute, please have items delivered to Karen Hylton, Office of Public Information, by June 17^th. Additional information regarding donations can be obtained by calling 314-345-4689.

Free City Pools Open June 13^th, 2011

Outdoor City pools will open on June 13^th and will remain open through August 19^th for the 2011 summer season. Pool entrance is free to City residents.  Pool hours are as follows:

Outdoor Pools

• Chambers           noon – 6:00 p.m.                                 7 days/week
• Fairgrounds        noon – 6:00 p.m.                                 7 days/week
• Marquette          noon – 7:00 p.m.                                 7 days/week

Indoor Pools

• Wohl                     noon – 5:00 p.m.                                 Mon-Sat
• Tandy                    noon – 5:00 p.m.                                 Mon-Fri
• 12^th & Park          noon – 5:30 p.m.                                 Mon-Fri
• Cherokee            noon – 5:00 p.m.                                 Mon-Sat

The City’s swimming pools are open daily and provide free swimming lessons.
