Dog Park Planning - Starting a Nonprofit?

Several neighbors have offered to help with the organize a possible Dog Park for Clifton Heights Neighborhood. If anyone is interested in getting involved in the planning, these free sessions might be very helpful.

Nonprofit experts Sue Greenberg and Laurie Hauber will go over the issues and procedures involved in establishing a charitable tax-exempt organization at this 3-session class, cosponsored by VLAA and Legal Services of Eastern Missouri:
Sept. 22, 3-4:30 pm Part 1: Making Decisions for Success, Sept. 29, 3-4:30 pm Part 2: Putting Incorporation Details Together, and Oct. 6, 3-4:30 pm Part 3: Applying for Tax-Exempt Status.Free but require phone or e-mail (kparks@slpl.org) preregistration so we can have enough materials ready.
