Charges upgraded after Ballwin teen shot in forehead by friend dies
ST. LOUIS • A few hours after a Ballwin teenager died Thursday from a point-blank gunshot wound to his head, prosecutors upgraded charges to murder against the man accused of pulling the trigger.
St. Louis police say Kevin Beindorff, 21, of the 6000 block of Eitman Avenue near Clifton Heights Park, shot his friend, Matthew Pellegrini, 18, in the forehead after showing him a revolver.
