Weatherization Services

& Energy Savings


The Weatherization Assistance program provides a range of residential
improvement services to reduce energy costs, increase safety and provide an increased quality of life for low-income residents of St. Louis City.
Licensed contractors perform and complete authorized work for residents.
The Weatherization Assistance Program services may include:
  • Wall and Ceiling Insulation
  • Plugging Air Leaks with Caulking
  • Installing Weather Stripping
  • Dryer Venting
  • Glazing and Repairing Windows and Doors
  • Performing Minor Duct Repair
  • Hot Water Tank Repair
  • Furnace Repair or Replacement
  • Central Air Repair or Window Unit Replacement
Eligibility
  • The Urban League provides weatherization assistance to low income homeowners and tenants residing in St. Louis City.
  • The Urban League emphasizes service to elderly persons living on a fixed income.
  • There is no cost to qualified homeowners or renters for weatherization services.
