Weatherization Assistance Weatherization Services & Energy Savings The Weatherization Assistance program provides a range of residential improvement services to reduce energy costs, increase safety and provide an increased quality of life for low-income residents of St. Louis City. Licensed contractors perform and complete authorized work for residents. The Weatherization Assistance Program services may include: Wall and Ceiling Insulation Plugging Air Leaks with Caulking Installing Weather Stripping Dryer Venting Glazing and Repairing Windows and Doors Performing Minor Duct Repair Hot Water Tank Repair Furnace Repair or Replacement Central Air Repair or Window Unit Replacement Eligibility The Urban League provides weatherization assistance to low income homeowners and tenants residing in St. Louis City. The Urban League emphasizes service to elderly persons living on a fixed income. There is no cost to qualified homeowners or renters for weatherization services.
