The International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) nonprofit organization will present its Public Participation Training program August 1 - 5 in St. Louis. Description: If you work in communications public relations, public affairs, planning, public outreach and understanding, community development, advocacy or lobbying, this training will help you to increase your skills and to be of even greater value to your employer. This is your chance to join the many thousands of practitioners worldwide who have completed the certificate training. Three modules will be offered: August 1 – 2: Planning for Effective Public Participation (2 days); August 3: Communications for Effective Public Participation (1 day); and
August 4 – 5: Techniques for Effective Public Participation (2 days). Note:"Planning for Effective Public Participation" is a prerequisite for other IAP2 modules. All courses are scheduled from: 8:30 am - 5 PM.
