July 20: Pedestrian and Bicycle Crossing Signals - Free Webinar

Description: This webinar will focus primarily on design guidance and policy as they relate to signals.Topics to be covered in the session include HAWK signals and rapid flashing beacons, leading pedestrian intervals, handling uncontrolled intersections and mid-block crossings, and the role of FHWA safety countermeasures such as pedestrian refuge islands. Accessible pedestrian signals (APS) will also be covered. Learn about these tools and the factors that affect their successful implementation.
