FREE TAX PREPARATION SERVICES FOR DEAF/HH


This service is for all households (total earnings) that earned $50,000 or less in 2011.
 
RTR/DCC, Gateway EITC, The City of St. Louis Office on the Disabled, and MERS/Goodwill are coming together to provide free tax preparation services with interpreters to the Deaf/HH community. This is an opportunity to get your 2011 taxes done by qualified preparers and have your taxes finished long before the deadline, April 15th.

Every Saturday:
January 28 - February 25
9:00 am - 1:00pm
First come, first serve
Will have interpreters!
Every Tuesday:
February 7 - February 28
9:00 am - 12:00 noon
First come, first serve
Will have interpreters!
Need to bring:
- All W2's and 1099's
- Social security cards or Individual Taxpayer I.D. numbers for all family members
- Valid picture I.D. for taxpayer and spouse (driver's license, state I.D, passport)
- If married and filing jointly both spouses must be present to sign
- Copy of 2010 tax return
- 1098 or real estate tax receipt
- Proof of unemployment compensation
- Copy of a voided check or bank account routing numbers for direct deposit
- Proof of childcare expenses
- Amount of EITC payments, if any
- Parcel number (Illinois residents only)
